We get A LOT of questions quite regularly about what our Jeebus Joints are.  Its fairly easy to explain, so i will use this post to sum it up.  A Jeebus Joint is something we make here as an upgrade to a typical OEM style ball joint that you will see on most other companies control arms, and most OEM vehicles.  An oem style ball joint is limited in its travel, and obviously the engineers at these car manufactures do not worry about how they will perform with air suspension, they do not design them to be cycled to their limits over and over again.  What we decided years ago was that we would make a joint that WAS designed to have the travel needed to match the needs of an adjustable suspension, and handle the abuse of driving outside of the small parameters that OEM ball joints recommend.   We machine all our Jeebus Joint components in house, we do not use a thrid party , which means we can make them exactly what we want, not settle for what other companies offer, and adapt.  The core of our Jeebus Joints are a 1″ teflon lined spherical bearing from FK Rod Ends.  We use these bearings because they are very well known for strength and longevity, from this point we machine a tapered insert that adapts to YOUR spindle… you never need to drill out your spindle to use a Jeebus Joint.. thats a waste of money.  Our bottom side tapered shafts are CNC turned from treated 4340 chromoly steel, then polished to a nice finish.  The bottom section of the shaft is secured to the bearing with our 4340 chromoly steel caps, and fastened together with G8 SHCS hardware.   This assembly installs into our 2.75″ OD CNC turned bearing “cups” and held in place by a .005 press AND a retaining ring.  Being that we machine all of this in house, we thought the perfect way to top these joints would be a nice CNC turned Billet Aluminum Cap, would our logo milled into it!  Used in a set of custom control arms, these joints look and function fantastic!

If you purchased a set of our Jeebus Joint control arms prior to 2013, and you have a set of our OLD style shafts, you can send yours in for a FREE upgrade to our new upgraded single piece units.  We want you to have the best product we offer, so this is done free of charge, just email us with your order info, and we can make it happen!

As always our Jeebus Joints have a LIFETIME warranty, if installed properly (with shocks, and in intended application).
