These are the MMW 99-06 Chevy / GMC upper and lower control arm set. This complete set of upper and lower arms will allow you to lay your 99-07 Coil Spring suspension GMC or Chevy 1500 pickup of SUV out on a 20-24" wheel, using the stock mounting points on your frame, and drop spindles.
The upper arms are CNC cut from .500 plate steel, and are jig fixture welded for a prefect fit each time. The upper arms come with ball joints, and new poly bushings, bolt sleeves, and are narrowed to help tuck inside your fenders.
The lower arms are also CNC cut from .500 plate steel, and are fully jig fixture welded, to achieve a prefect fit. The lower arms include ball joints, new poly bushings, lower bag mount, lower shock mounts and are narrowed to help tuck inside your fenders.
Drop spindles are required for proper installation to lay on 20 or 24" wheels. Lower arms are designed to be used with weld in upper bag mounts, and 7" bags. the use of 8" bags is possible, with a lower bag cup spacer. Due to all drop spindles having different castings, clearance of material around the ball joint mounting surface may be necessary to work with your perticular spindle, in most instances this can be done with a grinder or deburring tool, if possible a Mill will work best to remove the material. Some 24" tires will push the limits of these arms, and will require you to raise the upper arm mounts to correct issues connected to camber and toe. 22" Wheels lessens the chances of this issue. Raw metal Budget arm sets like these, are sent UN ASSEMBLED with loose K6540 & K6541 Joints, It is your responsibility to ensure proper installation of the product on your vehicle, if you have ANY questions on proper installation, PLEASE contact us.
