These are the new “Dodger” series of upper control arms made for the 73-87 style C-10 Trucks. These arms do just what they are named after, they affectively dodge the stock steering shaft cutting down the cost of hundreds of dollars in steering components and hours of work modifying your stock arms. These arms will install directly to your stock K6184 style x-shaft with the new bushings and sleeves that are included with the kit, and will also accept the stock C-10 ball joints that are currently on your truck, or available at any parts store. These arms are designed to be used with stock frame trucks to dodge the stock steering on those trucks. We have not tested these with any type of Z cut frame, or modified cross member and can not properly predict how each person modded theyre frame, so we do not reccomend them for Z cut frames, or modified cross members. Depending on wheel size, the Dodger Series control arms may requrie the use of one single steering knuckle, rather then the 2-3 that would be requred with stock controla rms.
