The portfolio template auto-resizes the images using the WordPress featured image feature. It pulls from a category or categories chosen in the theme settings or on a page by page basis to allow multiple portfolios. You can also hide the categories, title and/or excerpt. The thumbnail can link to a full-size image or to the actual post.
